Steps to make Vegetable Mayonnaise Sandwich

Take a large mixing bowl. mix all the vegetables like onion, carrot, tomato, cabbage, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and red chilli flakes in the bowl properly. Just make sure to finely chop or grate the vegetables before using them.

Take the bread slices and chop their edges. It is completely optional. Whole bread can also be used. You can use any Bread, be it a white Milk Bread, Brown Bread, Multigrain Bread, or even Whole Wheat Bread.

Apply butter over the inner sides of the bread slices. Keep some filling over one bread slice. Cover with another slice. Cut into a triangle and serve. The sandwiches can also be toasted for enhanced taste. Even flavoured mayonnaise can be used in place of a plain one. It can be made with brown bread in place of white bread for a healthy version. Butter can be easily replaced with Green Chutney for getting the tangy flavour.

It is always suggested to prepare fresh Sandwich while serving because they will turn soft and soggy if kept for long. Instead, the vegetable mixture can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge. Any veggies of choice can be used. Whatever available in the fridge. There is no hard and fast rule to prepare this sandwich. Even you can experiment with seasoning as well.
