    In a blender jar take fresh whisked curd, gram flour, salt, turmeric powder. Add 2 cup water and blend all ingredients well. It can be done without a blender. just add all the ingredients and mix them with a whisker.

    Prepare a lump-free batter by mixing it well. Take a thick bottomed pan, Turn on the flame. Pour the batter into the pan. Stir continuously and cook until dense.

    Stir continuously or occasionally until it thickens. It takes a few minutes to get this ready. Turn off the flame.

    Take any plate. Keep it upside down. Oil the reverse side of a stainless steel thali or marble tabletop with a little oil, to prevent the khandvi mixture from sticking and to ease the process of rolling the Khandvi. Put batter at the edge of the plate. Spread a thin layer over the plate with a spatula. Keep aside for 5 to 6 minutes. Once cool and set, cut into strips two inches wide and roll them tightly and taking care that you don't break them. cut it and fold it to make khandvi roll with fingers. Make all Khandvi rolls likewise.

    For tadka, Heat the tadka pan add oil, once hot add black mustard seeds, curry leaves and slit green chilies, add a pinch of asafoetida as well. When they crackle/splutter, Turn off flame and pour the tadka over the khandvi pieces. Garnish with freshly grated coconut and finely chopped green coriander leaves.
