It’s a YUMMY TUMMY Recipe : Food that makes your Kid’s Tummy Happy-Dora cakes or dorayaki pancakes are inspired by the cartoon series Doraemon. Dorayaki or Dora cake is Doraemon’s favorite snack. So soft and fluffy Dora cakes which are so easy to make. These cakes are sandwiched together with some chocolate spread. Kids will love it for sure.

So soft and fluffy Dora cakes which are so easy to make. These cakes are sandwiched together with some chocolate spread. Kids will love it for sure.

    Take a bowl. Add two tablespoons of melted butter. Salted or unsalted anyone as per the convenience and availability. Now add 1/4 cup of condensed milk (it will give a rich texture and add taste to your cake) and one tablespoon of honey. Also, add 5-6 drops of vanilla essence. Mix them well.

    Now add 1/3 cup of powdered sugar. you may adjust the sweetness of pancakes as per your taste and requirement.

    Whisk it properly to make the batter fluffy.

    Gradually mix 1 cup of all-purpose flour(maida) in the mixture. Add a cup of milk gradually to form a pancake batter and whisk until a thick & silky smooth pancake batter is ready without lumps.

    Add one teaspoon of baking powder. The pancake batter is ready. Keep it aside.

    Now heat up a pan on the medium flame. Grease it with little butter and remove the excess butter with a tissue paper. Pour a spoonful of batter on the pan and cook for one minute (some bubbles will appear on the top).

    Cover the pan with a lid and cook for one minute. Some bubbles will appear on the top. It doesn't take much time to be ready.

    After a minute, flip it over with a spatula and cook the other side. Cook both sides until golden brown. Repeat the same until the batter is over.

    Then spread any chocolate spread like Nutella on one pancake generously and cover with another pancake like a sandwich. Basically, Dorayaki is a pancake with sweet red bean paste and is originated in Japan.

    Now your Dora cakes are ready to serve, which is a sandwich with chocolate in the middle. Homemade Dora cake or Doriyaki is ready to enjoy.

    If your pan is bigger in size then you can make 2 pancakes at a time.
